Fabian Cisneros

Fabian Cisneros is an investment professional with more than seven years of experience across venture capital, private equity, investment banking and direct investment in Europe and Latin America.

He is Fund Manager at Plural Gestora de Ativos in Lisbon, where he structured and launched two investment funds regulated by Portugal’s securities regulator, the CMVM. He also teaches venture capital and private equity at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, covering the full investment lifecycle: deal sourcing, valuation, term sheets, portfolio construction and exits.

From 2023 to 2026 he was Investment Manager at Ocean Capital in Lisbon. There he led investment processes for funding rounds from €3M to $18M in SaaS, AI, CleanTech, HealthTech and Energy, led term sheet negotiations, and built the firm’s investment team. Earlier, he co-founded CrediLuca, a fintech in Ecuador that built machine-learning credit scoring for people without a bank history, and worked as a Business Analyst at Banco Pichincha.

He holds a Master in Management with a major in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, where his thesis studied revenue-based finance, and a bachelor’s degree from Universidad San Francisco de Quito, including an Erasmus exchange at Bocconi in Milan. He is a member of ECUACAP, the Association of Private Investment Funds of Latin America, and speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
